A Great End To a Great Year:
Kaleidoscope's 2004 RNLI Fundraising Effort Sets a New Record!
The totals are now in and we are proud to announce that in 2004 Kaleidoscope raised an amazing £1274.72 for our supported charity, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. This breaks our previous record for a single year, set in 1996. This total included the combined proceeds from Three of a Kind and More Ghosts of Christmas Past, sales of the Out Of The Unknown book and personal donations from attendees throughout the year. Of particular significance to the total was the Kaleidoscope Grand Charity Auction, which proved phenomenally successful.
Sue Coombes, Hon. Secretary of RNLI Stourbridge Branch, said:
"As for the auction - what can I say! It was quite extraordinary and raised an incredible amount of money. Thank you so much for organising this; we are very grateful to you and and all who took part in it and placed bids; in particular please do pass on our heartfelt thanks to all those who donated the items."
Last year's fundraising efforts bring Kaleidoscope's overall total raised for the RNLI since 1994 to a staggering £4543.98. Many, many thanks to everyone who supported us throughout last year for your generosity.
