- 13:00 The Career of Alan Plater - A round-up of clips from the work of the celebrated writer, including his early BBC work, Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt, Trinity Tales, Get Lost and Lewis.
- 13:25 Trinity Tales - with script and lyrics by Alan Plater and starring Bill Maynard and Francis Matthews, this is an internal BBC compilation of highlights, made for promotional reasons in 1975.

- 14:00 Live on Stage - Alan Plater - Kaleidoscope welcomes the prolific and highly acclaimed writer to discuss his long career, with clips including Cribb, The Beiderbecke Affair, Campion, Land of Green Ginger and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

- 13:00 Willow Cabins - Dorothy Tutin, Michael Bryant and Clive Swift star in this Alan Plater play focusing on relationships.
- 14:00 The Return of Sherlock Holmes - "The Man With The Twisted Lip" - Jeremy Brett's definitive Holmes leads the cast in Alan Plater's dramatisation of Conan Doyle's story.
- 15:00 Shades of Darkness - "Bewitched". Alan Plater adapts Edith Wharton's eerie tale with a superb cast including Eileen Atkins, Alfred Burke, Ray Smith, Gareth Thomas and Alfred Lynch.
- 16:00 Villains - "Three to a Cell". Power struggles in a prison are the theme of this crime play written by Alan Plater.
- 17:00 A Question of Happiness - "Fred" - David Langton stars in one of Alan Plater's earliest plays, and his first for ITV. The study of a lonely man in a crowded bar.
- 18:00 The Party of the First Part - Alan Plater's play from 1978 focuses on a coming of age party to remember; the cast includes Anne Stallybrass, Michael Gambon and Jan Francis.

This Kaleidoscope Event was in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution once again
and raised £189.60, bringing Kaleidoscope's overall total for this worthy cause since 1994 to £8,479.38
