More Ghosts of Christmas Past
Saturday 4th December 2004, 12:00 - 7:15 pm
Amblecote Room, Stourbridge Town Hall, Stourbridge, West Midlands, UK
Free Admission
Following on from the great fun we had last year at The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Kaleidoscope ran another special seasonal event for this Christmas, incorporating the Kaleidoscope Grand Charity Auction, which we hope will become an annual fixture of our festive gathering.
The event ran between 12:00 - 7:15pm on Saturday 4th December 2004 at our usual venue, Stourbridge Town Hall, Stourbridge, West Midlands, UK. Although free to enter as usual, we were once again raising money for our designated charity, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution on the day, and all proceeds from the Kaleidoscope Grand Charity Auction also went to this very worthy cause.
In much the same format as this year's other events, highlights included a black and white Carry on Christmas themed around Treasure Island, festive mini-episodes of The Dustbinmen, On The Buses and The Fenn Street Gang, Gawain and the Green Knight, a supernatural drama from the pen of David Rudkin, The Curious Case of Santa Claus, a mystery adventure starring Jon Pertwee, and the conclusion of the Armchair Thriller story that we have been showing throughout the year. All this plus a myriad of old TV idents, the sole surviving footage of New Year's Eve 1981 at Crossroads, and even more surprises.
