  • 12:00 pm Travelling Man - "First Leg". Opening episode of Roger Marshall's acclaimed drama series with the unlikely setting of England's canals. Leigh Lawson is the enigmatic Lomax, beginning a desperate search for his missing son.
  • 1:00 pm   Jamie - "The Carpet" - this delightful children's drama from LWT went unseen in many ITV regions due to bad scheduling.
  • 1:30 pm   Rehearsal Room - this Tyne Tees show features David Hamilton and The Animals.
  • 1:45 pm   George - an extract from a 1974 George Melly show featuring Monty Python's Graham Chapman.

  • 2:00 pm   Live on Stage - David "Diddy" Hamilton - in a remarkably varied career encompassing roles as diverse as continuity announcer, disc jockey, television presenter and match announcer for Fulham FC, David Hamilton has lots of memories of the industry going back decades. He joins us today to talk about his career.

  • 3:15 pm   Live on Stage - Juliet Harmer - the popular former actress best known for her starring role as Georgina Jones in Adam Adamant Lives! still has enduring appeal many years later. Juliet joins us on stage for an illustrated retrospective of her acting career.

  • 4:30 pm   Leap in the Dark - "The Fetch". Juliet Harmer and future Doctor Who companion Lalla Ward star in an episode from the supernatural anthology series from 1977.
  • 5:10 pm   Our Guests Resume - clips from the work of Juliet Harmer and David Hamilton that were not shown during the panels including Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Bless This house, Anne Hughes, Slim John, All Clued Up, One Day in the Life of Television, Morecambe & Wise, Give Us a Clue, Glamour 69, Ego Hugo and Top of the Pops. The presentation is also linked with David Hamilton continuity including the 1969 Moon landing.
  • 5:30 pm   Spooky - "The Restless Ghost". A chilling tale from the children's Dramarama strand.
  • 6:00 pm   The Masterspy - "Locate the missing camera film". Popular seventies game show in which contestants play agents trying to outwit William Franklyn's masterspy. This edition is one of a handful which have survived on VHS only.
  • 6:30 pm   Comedy Playhouse - "Born Every Minute" - Juliet Harmer stars in an episode from the long-running series.
  • 7:00 pm   Closedown - The last ever 405 line transmission on BBC1 (TX: 1985).
 
SECOND VIEWING AREA
Most of today's plays were intended for Raiders of the Lost Archive,
but were ultimately never used by ITV.
  • 12:00 pm City 68 - "Son of the City" - starring Anna Cropper and Martin Shaw.
  • 1:00 pm   ABC (ATV) Playhouse - "The Last Reunion" - this play starring Eric Portman, Michael Gough and Alfred Burke was returned from America as part of the Raiders of the Lost Archive campaign in 2007.
  • 2:00 pm   Love on the Dole - starring Malcolm Tierney, Anne Stallybrass, Jack Woolgar and Betty Driver.
  • 3:10 pm   Break
  • 3:30 pm   Playhouse - "A Matter of Diamonds" - Cliff Richard stars in an acting role in this play, another recovery from the Raiders of the Lost Archive campaign.
  • 4:30 pm   Play of the Week - "Hobson's Choice" - starring John Barrie, Patricia Routledge and Michael Caine.
  • 6:00 pm   Mrs Wilson's Diary - Nigel Hawthorne and On the Buses' Bob Grant and Stephen Lewis appear in this play from January 1969, also featuring previously unseen footage.
  • 7:00 pm   Closedown
