Meanwhile the prop people had been setting up the Goth luggage in the background. The only trouble was that the tide was coming in and getting the luggage wet. They even had to retrieve a couple of shields that were in danger of being swept out to sea. So, having set it up carefully, they had to move it all further up the beach above the high tide mark.

About 2 o'clock Gabrielle finally showed up. Seeing Lucy was fun, but I am a Gabrielle fan and if I only had to see one of them, it would have to be Reneé. Now, she may have been around first thing when I couldn't see what was happening or even when I was trying to work it out, but it was good to see her now.

Interestingly as soon as they started to rehearse Reneé took her robe off clearly doing her macho Kiwi bit, it was a cold day. So I still had to rely on Lucy's robe to tell me the difference between rehearsing and filming.

This scene had the Goths, then in front of them (from left to right) were Gabrielle, Xena and the Gothic leader. Xena says something to them and they draw their swords. They march down the beach, Xena says something else and they stop and throw down their swords. Xena steps forward and has a confrontation with Brunhilde. Then they fight. Xena wins and everyone kneels down, except the Gothic leader and he drags Gabrielle to her feet. Xena says something else.
Look for the guy in the red shirt. To the left of him are the Gothic leader, Lucy and Reneé in their robes.
